In the past I’ve done a few listicles, blog posts or articles with lists as their primary focus. Today, the K0NR Radio Site posted a list of his top five blog posts of 2019, which motivated me to look at my own top ten or so. I encourage you to read his article as well.
The drill, in my case, is to open Google Analytics, select the time frame of January 1 to December 31, 2019 and review the traffic ranking for all the site content. From this I can readily see the top rated articles. So here they are:
- Six Meter Dipole, from 2014, with 1,8963 pageviews. This one has always made my top articles listing.
- Ham Shack, a page that regularly draws in traffic, with 739 pageviews.
- 23cm Helix Antenna and Preamp, from 2017, with 700 pageviews.
- Cheap Yagis, from 2015, with 601 pageviews.
- Innovantennas 6 meter 3-element LFA Yagi, from 2015, with 586 pageviews.
- M2 Eggbeater Sat Pack, from 2018, with 578 pageviews.
- Stressed Moxon Ingeniously Elegant, from 2014, with 546 pageviews.
- VHF Contest Rover New Antenna Setup, from 2018, with 439 pageviews.
- Mixer I – The Shy Man, podcast P.G. Wodehouse story, from 2015, with 373 pageviews.
- TE Systems 6-meter Amplifier Testing and Setup, from 2019 hurrah, with 342 pageviews.
Other 2019 articles in the top 20 include K5ND Ham Shack Update, ARRL June 2019 VHF Contest Rover Route, and my K5ND Rover page. It looks like my current writing on VHF contesting is clearly meant from a smaller audience than say a six meter dipole. It also appears that my best readership comes from antenna articles, which is also where I have my most fun.
Those are my hot posts and pages from 2019. Looking forward to more in 2020.
