PathForeWord eBooks

In addition to Job Search Essentials, I’m also using the Smashwords eBook publishing and distribution service. I’ve found Smashwords to be very cost-effective and an extremely efficient way to get my books published in all the right formats and then distributed to nearly all the major eBook retailers. The retailers include Apple, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, Diesel, Page Foundary, Baker & Taylor, Flipkart, Oyster, and Scribd. I’ve separately listed all my eBooks with the Amazon Kindle Direct publishing program and with CreateSpace for printed versions of select titles.

Parents Intro to ABA

My first eBook was the Parent’s Intro to ABA. The Amazon Kindle listing is here. Here’s the overview:

This book is written for the parents of children with autism or pervasive developmental disorders. It is also written by a parent and takes the perspective of one who has investigated this topic thoroughly in the pursuit of treatment and training options for his own daughter. As such this book serves well as a concise description of applied behavior analysis as it is applied to the treatment of young children. It is written in layman’s terms with the goal of informing and assisting parents in not only evaluating this treatment option but also in actually implementing an in-home ABA program.

Systems Approach to Leadership

My second eBook is a brief pamphlet about applying family systems theory to leadership and particularly to change management in the workplace. It is titled Systems Approach to Leadership. The Amazon Kindle listing is here. I began studying this topic over 25 years ago and found that it provides excellent insight into interactions in the workplace. You may want to check this one out. It’s a short 5,000 words. Here’s the description from Smashwords:

This short book introduces the concepts of a systems approach to leadership. This approach applies family systems theories to the workplace and in particular how to use this approach to leading organizations. It provides insight into the theory and discusses specific applications. Quick read. Great insight.
