Today I wired up the FLEX-1500 that I won last week and got on the air.

This week we finally announced the Boy Scouts of America Amateur Radio Operator Rating Strip.

Ran the NAQP CW for 4.5 hours and managed 205 QSOs and 98 multipliers, with 46 states/provinces. Hope you got on the air.

Attended the Lone Star DX Association and won the drawing --- a FlexRadio Systems FLEX-1500 SDR transceiver!

I finished 3rd in W5 call area QRP category in the August NAQP CW contest. Read how I did in the North American Spring CW.

Entered my first RTTY contest this weekend. I really had a blast. My overall score hit a new personal record number of QSO's (416) over just 13 hours. My previous best have been in the 300 range and that over a full 48 hour CW contest weekend.
