PathForeWord Freelance Writing
K5ND is my amateur radio call sign, and the title of my blog, which focuses on radio activities and equipment. I also provide freelance writing for several clients on a wide range of technical topics written for a general audience. Those articles help build my clients’ reputation as thought leaders and showcase their product and service offerings to potential clients. PathForeWord is the name of my solopreneur business.
My freelance writing career began in the 1970s with a few articles and a book for Wayne Green’s 73 Magazine. That experience was leveraged into a full-time position at Heathkit, where I wrote their amateur radio general license course. That was followed by increasingly responsible leadership positions in technical publishing organizations, culminating in leading the Boy Scouts of America’s publishing program.
Upon retiring in 2013, I founded PathForeWord, where I have worked with a diverse range of clients and written over 800 articles and several books to date. On these pages, I’ve provided a portfolio of select highlights from my work, along with a video resume and a business overview.
