This afternoon I entered the BARTG 75 Sprint. This is a RTTY contest conducted at 75 baud. It lasts just four hours. So it is a great contest to get on for a while on a Sunday afternoon. I managed just 47 QSOs and a whopping 4,888 points. The bands were in OK shape with 20 meters and 15 meters doing well. Only found one contact on 10 meters.
This was a great tune up for next weekend’s big contest — the CQ WW RTTY contest. The organizers are stating that over 200 countries will be on the air. I will be setting up my 15 meter Moxon beam and will consider a single band entry. We’ll see how the conditions go.
